Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers notice, understand or shape personal stories with care. A good proposal is specific, grounded in a clear idea and suited to the quiet scale of this publication.
What we welcome
We consider essays and reported pieces about memory, everyday moments, meaningful objects, familiar places and the choices involved in telling personal stories. A contribution might explore one telling detail, compare two ways of preserving a recollection, or offer a focused exercise for shaping a story. We are interested in fresh angles, not a subject made to sound universal when it is personal.
What to include in a pitch
Tell us the working idea, why it suits Meaningful Network, what the reader will take away and how you would develop it. Mention any firsthand experience or sources the piece depends on, and be clear about what you can verify. A short outline is helpful; a complete draft is not needed for an initial proposal.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial enquiry option. Please include a concise description of the piece and a way for us to reply. We cannot promise to accept every pitch, and we will not publish work without agreeing its scope and terms.
